The first beer developed with Chef Ben Purton is a Belgian Witbier, a perfect match for fish and chips: its bready sweetness complements the caramelised crust of the fried fish, while lively carbonation and gentle acidity cut through the richness. Bright citrus notes echo the lemon and tartar sauce, and subtle spice from coriander and yeast enhances any herbs in the dish.
